Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy limits blood flow to working muscles in order to stimulate muscle growth and prevent muscle loss.
This allows muscles to safely work under a low load and gain benefits in growth similar to high-intensity training with heavy loads.
BFR may be a helpful therapy technique for the following conditions:
- Injury rehabilitation
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Weak muscles
- Knee pain
- Fractures
- Tendinopathies
- Osteoporosis
