Andy Herstam

Education: Saint Louis University

Andy was born and raised in Phoenix. His lifelong love of physical fitness grew while rowing for Brophy College Prep’s crew team (located on Tempe Town Lake – the only body of water in the valley!). He was thrilled to then be admitted to Saint Louis University PT program. Since it was too cold to row in the Midwest at 5 A.M., Andy turned to powerlifting, as he yearned for athletic competition. He worked his way up to national-level meets, culminating in the Arnold Classic in 2019.

Andy is excited to bring his love of competitive sports to the ProActive team, helping patients recover from injuries and reach their potential. He looks forward to exploring all that his new home has to offer, especially the many trails in the beautiful mountains surrounding Tucson.
