Brent was born and raised in Tucson. He has always enjoyed being active and influencing others to do so themselves. His passion extends further than just diagnosing and treating. Brent truly enjoys building rapport with his patients and assures that they not only feel better, but that they have a fun time achieving their goals.
Brent earned his Bachelor of Health Science in Physiology from The University of Arizona in 2010. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 2014. After graduation he moved back to Tucson to begin to treat in the outpatient orthopedic setting where he utilizes evidence based treatment strategies.
In his free time, Brent enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and dog. He’s a diehard Arizona basketball fan, enjoys working out, playing basketball, home projects, and has recently picked up the sport of pickle ball.

Originally from Princeton, Massachusetts, Lauren moved to Scottsdale in 2006. She completed her undergrad with honors at the University of Arizona in 2013 and then went on to attend NAU for graduate school. Lauren chose physical therapy because she enjoys helping people get back to the things they love to do. She has a particular interest in vestibular patients and plans to further her education in this area.
In her free time, you can find her hiking, running, sailing (where there’s water), spending times with friends, and exploring Tucson and neighboring cities.

Janelle is a musician who decided to become a physical therapist in order to assist others in improving their quality of life. Originally from Phoenix, she was raised by two doctors who instilled in her a love of helping people. She attended the University of Arizona where she earned a Bachelor of Music and also participated in the Pride of Arizona marching band. She continued her education and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has been working in Tucson since 2014 helping patients recover from brain injury, accidents, and strokes. Janelle has always had a love for hand therapy and was thrilled to join the ProActive Physical Therapy team. Even though she changed from Music to Physical Therapy, her love of music has stayed strong. She participates in several music groups in Tucson during the year. In her free time she enjoys playing the horn, rollerblading, quilting, and watching hockey.

From a young age, Lee knew he would pursue a profession that focuses on helping people maximize their potential. With a deeply rooted upbringing in athletics, physical therapy was a term often thrown around by injured teammates, catching Lee’s attention and warranting further investigation. After shadowing several therapists in Tucson, it became apparent that this was the profession for him. Lee earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. During his time in graduate school, Lee discovered his passion for running and is now training for his first marathon. He also enjoys spending time with his family, coaching football, rock climbing, cycling, and cheering on his Arizona sports teams.

Cyndi’s interest in physical therapy developed when she received physical therapy following a softball injury. Her past experience allows her to be compassionate and dedicated to the details of excellent patient care.
Cyndi is native to Tucson and played college softball for the University of Arizona. Outside of the clinic, she loves to spend time with her husband, daughter and close friends. She enjoys camping, sports, and on occasion giving softball lessons.

Sandra was born and raised in Tucson, where she attended the University of Arizona. During her undergraduate education, she worked as a student athletic training technician in the sports medicine department for Arizona Athletics, which sparked her interest in sports medicine and physical therapy. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health. With her gained interest and pre-medical background, she was determined to pursue a career in physical therapy. She loves spending time with friends and family, playing golf, watching professional baseball, attending U of A sporting events and loves to travel, especially to her second home, Las Vegas, NV.
