Cupping
Cupping is a form of manual therapy in which a therapist attaches cups to the skin via suction.
This technique can help with pain and inflammation while promoting healing as it improves the lymphatic system.
During treatment, you may feel an initial “tightness.” However, this quickly dissipates. Dark circular marks usually appear and can remain on the body from a few days to two weeks. These circles may look like bruising, but cupping does not create an injury.
If you suffer from any of the following, cupping may be able to help:
- Back pain
- Knee pain
- Neck pain
- Shoulder pain
- Arthritis
- Carpal Tunnel
- Tendinitis
- Bursitis
- Plantar fasciitis
- Fibromyalgia
