Preparing for Your Appointment

How to plan for your first appointment:

Step 1

Call your insurance

We highly recommend calling your insurance provider to ensure you’re in-network prior to your appointment. It’s important to know what services are covered and what your payment responsibility is. If you do not have insurance, we offer affordable self-pay options. Our patient service specialists, will work with you to make sure the process goes smoothly. 

Step 2

Arrival Time

Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, or answer additional questions regarding your condition or medical history. On average, your first appointment may last between 45 minutes to an hour.

 

Step 3

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in. Bring or wear sneakers, especially if you have a lower extremity injury. Bring your photo ID, insurance card, co-payment (if applicable), and prescription from your physician (if applicable).

Initial Evaluation

Your initial evaluation will be one on one with your physical therapist. You may discuss your symptoms, other treatments you’ve tried, your goals, plan of care and any questions you might have. Our main goal is help you achieve a full recovery. Depending on your symptoms, your physical therapist may make a diagnosis and begin treatment almost immediately.
