2018 Employees of the Year

On November 1st, we celebrated our Employee Appreciation Awards which honored employees receiving their 3, 5, 7 and 10 years of service, as well as our two 2018 Employees of the Year. This event was a great reminder of what ProActive Physical Therapy has accomplished over the past year thanks to the hard work and dedication to the entire staff. Read on to meet the 2018 ProActive Employees of the Year.

Employee of the Year – Non Clinical: Sondra Villafuerte

With nothing but good praises, Sondra claimed the Non-Clinical Employee of the Year award for 2018. She’s always upbeat and ensures the patients feel welcomed when they enter the ProActive clinic. On top of managing the front office staff, Sondra has been a wealth of knowledge and resources for the clinical staff and always makes herself available.

Receiving Employee of the Year means gratitude to me. I am just so grateful for the amazing opportunities I have encountered working for ProActive. Receiving this recognition is a reminder that my hard work and dedication to this company does not go unnoticed and I am so thankful that I love where I work and what I do. I know that so many nominees were as deserving as I, and that is why I love where I work, because I work with so many amazing people who also love what they do and put the patients first. When you have a great team working alongside you it is easy to achieve greatness! I give thanks to my awesome Front Office Representatives, PT’s, CHT’s, PTA’s and Tech’s that I work with for always being team players, so that I am able to accomplish all that I need to keep our clinic successful. I am grateful to work alongside such hard working, thoughtful and amazing people,” states Sondra.

Employee of the Year –Clinical: Joe Maciulla

Joe is an employee that goes above and beyond, without being asked to do so. In the clinic, you’ll find him comforting patients and helping them get back to the activities they love most, many of them specifically asking to work with Joe. In addition to his patient care, Joe helps lead an educational series twice a month for the technicians. This helps the ProActive techs better understand the goal behind the treatments and how they relate to various diagnoses.

I consider it a great honor to be named employee of the year in a company with so many talented clinicians. I am truly privileged to be a part of such an outstanding team and find it humbling to be recognized among so many great team members,” mentions Joe.

Congratulations again to both Sondra and Joe for being named the 2018 Employees of the Year. We’re so grateful to have such passionate, caring and hard-working employees.
