With deep roots in Tucson and a passion for treating athletes of all ages—specifically soccer, we’re proud to announce that ProActive Physical Therapy is the Official Athletic Training and Physical Therapy provider of FC Tucson for the 2018 season.

Our commitment to the Tucson community goes beyond our clinic walls—and onto sports fields for games and practices by promoting athlete safety, injury prevention and appropriate recovery from injury. One of our top priorities is being responsive to the needs of athletes, parents and coaches and putting the right strategy in place if an injury does arise.

We believe physical therapists, athletic trainers, physicians and club leadership working together on injury prevention, athletic performance and recovery from injury is the gold standard, whether for professional or amateur athletes,” notes Chief Experience Officer Bruce Watson.

Soccer presents a challenge for any sports medicine team as it is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States and the it places unique physical demands on the athletes. Proper physical conditioning, coordination and musculoskeletal development are all important factors in preventing injuries on the pitch. ProActive Physical Therapy has a long-standing reputation in the soccer community as the expert resource for soccer athletes looking to recover from an injury and return to play or as an educational resource for coaches, parents and athletes on ways to prevent injury.

We’re looking forward to a fun, successful and exciting season. Here’s to a victorious season for the FC Tucson team.
