John Woolf, MS, PT, ATC A graduate of the Northern Arizona University College of Physical Therapy. He has a masters degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Athletic Trainer Certification from the University of Arizona. John is the former Director of Sports Medicine for The University of Arizona where he coordinated rehabilitation and medical coverage for division I athletes. He belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers' Association. John has lectured in the University of Arizona's Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and continues to lecture nationally on the topics of diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain and the application of a biopsychosocial approach to health care. He is the co-director of the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US(www.iaom-us.com). In his spare time John races bicycles in the Tucson community, enjoys his wife, Chris and two children, Natalie and Timber.
Kelly McLearran, PT, MPT graduated from The University of Northern Arizona College of Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Terri Delaune, PT, COMT graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 1989. She became Certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy for the Spine from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM) in August 2005. Terri has worked primarily in out-patient orthopedic clinics in Florida, California, Germany, and finally Arizona. She joined the ProActive Team in October 1997 where she began her studies and training with the IAOM in Differential Diagnosis and Manual Therapy for Non-Operative Management of Orthopedic Conditions. She was ranked in the National Top Ten in breaststroke until an injury sidelined her from competitive training. She continues to swim for her own enjoyment. Terri is married and has two children.
Jon P. Davison, PT Jon received his undergraduate and Physical Therapy degree from the University of Evansville, Indiana in 1997. Jon has worked in busy orthopedic clinics in Bend, Oregon and Tucson. He has studied with both the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and the International Acadamy of Orthopedic Medicine. He helped establish the Emergency Department Physical Therapy Program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson and later the Sports Plus Physical Therapy Clinic for Carondelet Health Network. He joined ProActive in April of 2005. Jon has experience with training, treating and teaching athletes from all levels of competition. He enjoys a good bike ride and soccer match.
Carolyn Adler, PT, DPT, received her B.S in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona. She later received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University, as well as a graduate Certificate in Disability Policy and Practice. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Bre Boettiger, PT, DPT, ATC is a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. Bre, originally from Oregon, received her B.S. in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Bre specializes in sports medicine and orthopedics and has experience training athletes from high school, college, semi-professional and professional sports teams. Bre's professional goals include achieving certification as a manual therapist and certified orthopedic specialist.
Cherie Miller- Gray, OTR/L, CHT, has worked over 29 years as an O.T. and specialized with over 15 years of experience in the treatment of upper extremity orthopedic injuries. Miller-Gray graduated from Boston University and achieved her Certification in Hand Therapy in 1995. Specializing in wound care, severe traumatic hand injuries, tendon repairs, amputations and complex splinting. She has successfully treated many musicians with peripheral nerve dysfunctions and repetitive strain.
Bryan M. Hannley, PT graduated from Marquette University and has been a licensed out-patient practitioner in North and South Carolina, Colorado, Texas and Arizona, where he was involved in consulting with medical groups to establish in-house physical therapy clinics. Bryan became a member of the ProActive team in March 2007, and specializes in post-surgery rehabilitation, having great interest in shoulder pain and dysfunction. A great supporter of our local community, Bryan is an active member of the Centurions of St. Mary’s Hospital, Tucson Young Professionals and Bank of Tucson’s Advisory Board. Bryan is an avid golfer, hiker and “weekend warrior” around the house.
Sarah Harwell, PT, DPT, CSCS completed her BS in Exercise Physiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University. She was certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association in August of 2004. Sarah is currently training with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine for a certification in manual therapy.
Frank Tomizuka, CM graduated from The Institute for Physical Fitness and Myotherapy. He is a licensed massage therapist and belongs to the International Myotherapy Association.
Nancy Simmons MS, ATC (PTA - CA only) Graduated from University of Oregon in 1985 with a Masters in Adaptive PE and received her NATA certification that same year. Was licensed as a PTA in the state of California in 1988. Has worked in Physical Therapy Clinics, hospitals, and high schools in Oregon, California, and since 1991, Arizona. Currently is head athletic trainer at Catalina Foothills High School providing coverage for athletes in all sports.
